This porch and deck combo wasn’t just about adding outdoor space — it was about transforming a steep, underused slope into something functional, beautiful, and ready for daily life. Elevated high above a challenging backyard grade, we designed and built a structure that feels effortless, despite the complexity underneath.
We used Trex Foggy Wharf for both the porch and the open deck — a soft, modern gray that pairs perfectly with the surrounding greenery and keeps things looking bright even in the shade. Inside the screened porch, we painted the ceiling white to amplify the natural light and give the space an airy, open feel.
From steep slope to serene retreat, this one proves that no terrain is too tough — it just takes the right design.
